Dead Media Still Bites
Tapes, records, flyers and the ritual of keeping horror in your hands.
Published July 10, 2026

You remember where a tape came from. You remember who handed you a record. You remember the corner damage and the weird smell before you remember the specs.
Horror culture has always been carried by physical objects: bootleg tables, mailers, photocopies, plastic cases, folded flyers and shirts that became proof you were there.
The gallery is built around that feeling: image first, dark room, no museum voice.
Streaming is access. Physical media is a ritual.
